WebI use a moist brush but I don't add water to the primer (painting hydrophobic Bones minis atm and that wouldn't work). One coat is usually fine. I use a soft, no-name brush. I prime a lot of models at once and I don't touch them again for 24 hours or more. Just whenever I get tired of detail painting, I prime a batch of models for some other time.
