I painted mine after hours of prep, even baked in oven to cure. after about 3 weeks started to get small bubbles. I then removed them and had them powder coated. They are pot metal. If they were plastic you would not be able to powder coat them. this week i am tearing everything apart to have everything powder ... shandi lynn photography
